Privacy Statement

At OurWeb Ltd, we are committed to protecting your privacy . It is occasionally necessary for us to collect information about you to process bookings and to provide a more personalised experience. We make every effort to maintain the confidentiality of all information you provide us as part of this process. When you book with OurWeb Ltd, we need to know your name, email address, mailing address and telephone number. OurWeb Ltd does not make its mailing list available to third parties. You may choose not to receive communications from OurWeb Ltd by sending an email to noinfo@askelena.com. Please read our Privacy Policy.

Definitions

OurWeb Ltd: Private limited company registered in England and Wales, Company Registration Number: 7590044.

Client: The Client means the person completing and signing the Booking Form and in addition all other persons on whose behalf he/she is completing the same and he/she warrants that he/she has their authority to sign on their behalf.

Owner: The legal owner or the manager of the property.

Booking Deposit: The Booking Deposit varies between 10-30% of the total accommodation cost, depending on the type of accommodation.

Consultancy Fee: OurWeb Ltd reserve the right to charge a consultancy fee, in addition to the Booking Deposit, for tailor-made vacation planning.

General

OurWeb Ltd act as letting agent for the Owner of the property. The hiring contract is between the Client and the Owner of the property for which the booking is made and incorporates the conditions set out below. In all legal respects the Client is liable to the Owner and vice versa. OurWeb Ltd are not a property management agency.

Booking

The booking is not valid until the completed and signed Booking Form and appropriate Booking Deposit / Consultancy Fee have been received by OurWeb Ltd and OurWeb Ltd have sent confirmation of the booking to the Client.

Payment

On completion of the booking the payment of a Booking Deposit / Consultancy Fee must be made to OurWeb Ltd. The balance / remaining payment must be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival directly to OurWeb Ltd OR upon arrival directly to the Owner of the property, depending on the type of the accommodation. In the case of non-payment on any due date, OurWeb Ltd reserves the right to cancel the booking and the Booking Deposit / Consultancy Fee is forfeited.

Authority to Sign

The person who completes and signs the Booking Form certifies that he/she is authorized to agree the Booking Conditions on behalf of all persons included in the Booking Form including those added or substituted at a later date. The signatory must be a member of the party occupying the property and must be 18 years or over. Bookings cannot be accepted from parties of young people under 18 years of age.

Client’s Obligations

The Client agrees:

a. To take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the letting period.

b. To permit the Owners or their agents reasonable access to the property to carry out urgent maintenance.

c. The parking of caravans or pitching of tents on the grounds of the property is strictly forbidden.

Travel Information

The Client is responsible for his/her travel documentation (passports, driving licenses, vehicle registration documents, motor insurance, etc.).

Local Facilities

In early and late season some restaurants and local facilities may be closed and, although mentioned in the website, cannot be guaranteed.

Accuracy of Property Descriptions

We have endeavoured to ensure our website is accurate, however we cannot be held responsible for any changes which might take place after our inspection of the property.

Damage

The Client agrees to pay for any breakage, losses or damage to the property, its fittings, fixtures or contents caused or arising during the letting period. Should a Client be responsible for damage to or loss of any item of the property inventory during the letting period, a charge will be made locally to cover the cost of replacement or repair.

Damage Deposit

Depending on the type of property OurWeb Ltd reserve the right to require the payment of a refundable Damage Deposit to cover for any breakage, losses or damage to the property, its fittings, fixtures or contents caused or arising during the letting period. The amount and time of payment of the Damage Deposit is representative of the category of the residence and is determined prior to the Booking.

If You Have a Complaint

Complaints must be made to OurWeb Ltd immediately, to allow us the opportunity of rectifying any problem. Complaints received after the end of the letting period cannot be accepted. We cannot accept responsibility for events outside our control, e.g. breakdown of domestic equipment, bad weather and natural phenomena or the actions of carrier companies. We shall make every reasonable effort to organize rectifications of problems reported immediately.

Extra Persons

The number of persons stipulated in the Booking Form must not be exceeded unless approval is obtained directly from OurWeb Ltd. In any case, the maximum number of persons, including infants, allowed at the property is clearly stated in our website and may not be exceeded.

Cancellation by Client

If the Client wishes to cancel the booking he/she should advice OurWeb Ltd by email or telephone, followed by a cancellation letter signed by the same person who signed the Booking Form.

Cooling-off Period

If the cancellation is made within 7 days from the completion of the booking, OurWeb Ltd will refund the Booking Deposit paid by the Client less a handling charge, within 30 days from the receipt of the cancellation letter. The cooling-off period of 7 days for cancellation does not apply if the letting period starts within 7 days from the completion of the booking (last minute bookings). If the cancellation is made in more than 7 days from the completion of the booking, OurWeb Ltd will not refund any Booking Deposit/Consultancy Fee nor any rent paid to the Owner.

Alteration by Client

Should the Client wish to make any alteration / amendment to the booking after it has been confirmed, OurWeb Ltd reserve the right to impose an extra administration fee. For any alteration which involves a change of accommodation or a change of departure date, OurWeb Ltd reserve the right to impose an additional Booking Deposit/Consultancy Fee.

Cancellation / Alteration by OurWeb Ltd

In the unlikely event that OurWeb Ltd have to cancel a booking after the booking has been completed, the Client will be informed without delay. OurWeb Ltd will make every reasonable effort to offer the choice of an alternative equivalent accommodation or the Booking Deposit / Consultancy Fee will be refunded less a handling fee. The Client shall have no further claim against OurWeb Ltd.

Non Availability of Property

If, for any reason beyond our control, e.g. fire, death, etc. the property is not available on the date booked, the Booking Deposit / Consultancy Fee will be refunded less a handling fee. The Client shall have no further claim against OurWeb Ltd. Under no circumstances will OurWeb Ltd be liable for any claim made against us, if the Client arranges alternative accommodation without prior consultation and agreement in writing of OurWeb Ltd.
